Bras Large Size
Why Wear Underwire Maidenform Bras by Nitin Patidar
Many women find the Bra to be a very frustrating item. In fact, over half of adult women right now are
probably wearing A Bra that is the wrong size for them. When it comes to getting the correct size for a
bra, sizing difficulties tend to increase when women opt for underwire Maidenform brads. While
difficult to deal with at first, there are a number of advantages associated with underwire bras.
While some women opt for bras with padding to assist in enhancing the breast size appearance, bras
are meant to provide support and help women maintain proper posture. A bra that is a soft cup
provides a different kind of support when compared to underwire. Soft cup bras do not provide women
with as much support. This enables breast to move freely within a bra, which is not really wanted by
most women.
Maidenform bras with underwire have a very thin wire that runs along the side and the bottom of the
bra cups. Because some women experience discomfort with underwire, there is a bit of extra padding
along the wire to keep discomfort at a minimum.
Aside from the additional support underwire bras offer the female wearer, they also offer women a bit
more lift as well as some extra padding. Women who opt for underwire bras do so because they want
to retain control over how their breasts look while wearing a bra and require additional support. Most
women who have larger breast sizes can only wear underwire bras, as those without offer no support at
all.
When underwire bras first hit the market, there were a number of rumors connecting the underwire in
the bra to an increased risk of developing breast cancer. However, there have been no recent scientific
studies concluded that show any type of correlation between the type Of Bra a woman wants to wear
and the onset of breast cancer. While some women believe that the metal in a underwire bra may
cause some discomfort and pressure along the breasts, it is actually not the underwire but the fact that
the woman is wearing a bra that is not the proper fit.
As a side note – although there is no risk linked with not wearing a bra, it can cause discomfort,
especially for those women who have large busts. As well, not wearing a bra will not cause the breasts
to sag; this is a natural occurrence that happens with age.
While Maidenform bras without underwire are available, many women like the shape of their bust
when they do wear underwire. Especially for small-busted women, underwire gives them a little extra
push to make their chest look a bit bigger than it is.
